"I'm sorry the wraith with Maddy said they had left the town. He then mentioned the person I have Red going to check on." She smiled. "It shoudln't take Red long."

Madeira was pensive, frustration was building-- that at least was evident by the way she just... shut up. She moved a bit further in the wooded area, checking for footprints, nests anything she could find. Pieces of rock, dirt-- all manner of things went into her mouth as she looked around, tasting for things foreign to the soil-- anything that tasted or smelled of blood or death.

The Native American was trying to track something, anything.

What the Malkavian found wasn't trace of prey, but rather traces of the distant past. The ground surrendered to her close examination what had been interred about a century before the birth of Christ.

Four dozen gold Roman coins, a plain gold ring with an inscription inside, and a small silver cup engraved in latin were in a hole that had what was once an ironbound wooden chest.

Madeira huffed and pulled on a pair of gloves. The knapsack came off of her back as she carefully picked up the items-- showing them to Cally and Jonathan first-- before putting them away for further examination later and not so out in the open.

Cally took the gold coins and nodded. "This melted and reminted could be used as payments for things." She looked over the ring and gave it the 'once over' before she glanced at the cup. "Silver can be melted too andI will have the stuff to do it."

Madeira nodded. "I'll want to check it... In case it's that kind of cup..."

Madeira looked at Jonathan with a toothy grin.

"Hang 'round me long enough, even weirder shit will happen. Trust me. Ask Cally," snort.

"I tend to find the nexuses of the planet and gravitate toward them. It can't be helped. It's mah callin'."

"The trouble magnet." Cally said with a shake of her head.

Cally seemed ot turn and nod to the air. "Thanks Red." She said before turning ot them. "Tavern keeper is mortal as in everyone in the building. No Sabbat. Sorry Archon Lewis."

"Hmm... I do hope this doesn't become a trend"

Madeira shook her head, looking as if she might be debating something. She turned on her heel and began walking back in the direction they came.

"Somethin's up. Why there would be a push and then all the sudden nothin'?" She gave a low growl.

"You know that answer Maddie." Callisto said in a calm but low tone as she turned and walked with her friend. "Did you get anything from them anything personal from any of those that survived?" She asked as they walked. "You know the deal I'm looking for."

An arrow whizzed through the night sky and embedded itself into the Tremere's left thigh.

Madeira was about to answer her old friend when the arrow whizzed by. She looked in the direction it came from, quickly sharpening her vision and taking a fighting stance.

A dark form fluttered off into the sky as a coal black raven took flight.

"Sonofabitch." Cally said as the pain sliced through her. She went to reach for it stopped winced in pain and pulled out a cloth from her pocket first before removing it. She dropped to her good knee and cursed in Mandaran the entirre lineage of the being that just shot her.

A second later she covered the tip with the feathers with her hand closed her eyes and came to know somthing of the one she just cursed. (PM to ST)
